Nicole Ratjen

Nicole Ratjen started Improv at an early age at the Canadian Improv games and never stopped. As a performer and improvisor she has worked and toured on productions across Canada, throughout Europe and Australia. After completing her theatrical studies at York University in Toronto she trained at L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris and Philippe Gaulier.
 
She is a company member the mask theatre company TheatreFragile. She is one of the idiots in the Bloody Bawdy Villains and can been seen performing regularly improvised theatre with Good Luck, Barbara, It’s That Time of the Month and ComedySportz Berlin and on screen as Rachel in the Webseries, Das Apartment.

Jakob Wagner

Jakob is an improviser, actor, musician, producer and writer, born and raised in Berlin.

Jakob fell in love with improv after seeing a “Good Luck, Barbara” show, he became one of the very first Hive Improv students. Besides learning to do improv with Hive and Comedysportz Berlin, he picked up lessons from improv luminaries such as Will Hines, Alex Berg, Inbal Lori, Marie Lively, Joe Bill, Dave Razowsky and Philip Markle. Jakob is a founding member of several long form groups including Guillotine, Cat Video and championship winners Cat Bear.

Besides being an improv fanatic, Jakob has been rapping and singing with the bands Flexiblez, Brassnatass and Puppetmastaz. He has also produced music for several artists. When he started out as an actor he was also a regular for a German TV show for a while. And if you are ever on his good side he might even tell you which one.

Jakob ist ein Improvisierer, Author, Schauspieler und Musiker aus Berlin.

Jakob ist seit über vier Jahren Teil der englischsprachigen Improszene in Berlin. Am Anfang spielte er mit Comedysportz und wurde später regelmäßiger Performer in Langformshows, vor allem im CCB. Er lernte Improvisation bei Comedysportz und der Hive School of Comedy. Außerdem besuchte er Kurse bei Improvlegenden wie Will Hines, Alex Berg, Inbal Lori, Marie Lively, Joe Bill, Dave Razowsky, Lee White, Lydia Hensler and Philip Markle. Jakob ist ein Gründungsmitglied mehrerer Comedygruppen einschließlich Pfand!, Cat Video, Wagner und Bär und die January Offensive 2018 Gewinner Cat Bear.

Jakob ist außerdem Rapper, Sänger und Puppenspieler in der Band Puppetmastaz. Ferner hat er Musik für verschiedene Künstler produziert. Er hat zudem Sketche für Bühne und Film geschrieben und veröffentlicht und spielt regelmäßig mit der Sketch-Grupper The Weird-Show!

Josh Telson

Josh Telson is a comedian and filmmaker living in Berlin, Germany by way of New York City. As a filmmaker he has produced, shot and directed countless short films and documentaries, including numerous sketch videos and promos.

He is a member of ComedySportz Berlin and a founding member of Good Luck, Barbara, two of the most popular improv groups in Berlin. He co-founded Berlin's first Harold group/team "The Improv Amt" and co-produced one of Berlin's most popular monthly comedy shows "Post Humor", which ran from 2012 to 2013 and featured original sketches, video, and long form improv. As a stand up comedian, he performs regularly all over Berlin and Germany, and back in New York City whenever he can. He is a co-creator of Tatort auf Englisch and the podcast "piffle!" with his brother Noah, and has taught improv with ComedySportz and Hive Improv. As the father of two young children, he uses his improv skills on a daily basis because kids are f•cking crazy.

Noah Telson

Noah is a German American comedian/actor/improviser and co-founder/owner of Comedy Café Berlin. He has been a member of ComedySportz Berlin since 2010 and is a founding member of Good Luck, Barbara, Berlin’s premier long form improv group. He is a graduate of Purchase College, Middle East Technical University and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin with degrees in Political and Social Science. He has studied improv under Will Hines (UCB), Alex Berg (UCB), Lee White (CRUMBS), Philip Markle (Annoyance, BCC) and Brian Kapell (CSz). You can see him performing improv with GLB, ComedySportz Berlin, Tatort auf Englisch, Action Jackson, Lee White and the Noah Telsons and with his latest solo project, Ghost. He has taught improv for ComedySportz and Hive Improv and currently teaches and co-directs at The CCB Training School.
